If you are, and only if you are, a UK trainee on your way to CCT, you are generally expected to be an MRCP holder and have your educational supervisor’s signature.

You are expected to sit this exam usually if you are ST4/ST5. This only applies to UK haematology trainees aiming for CCT.

FRCPath-1 Haem is held twice every year, once in March and once in September. Our course is also held twice a year. RCPath opens for exam applications usually 2-3 months before the exam. This is where you will find details about how and when to apply.

FRCPath-1 Haematology gives you a Diplomate certificate so you can legally use DipRCPath after your name after part 1 success.
